…..Dad, have you looked at anything about Ron Paul? I really think you’d like him. He’s a small “r” republican like we are and wants to go back to a strict interpretation of the constitution and a lot less federal power. You may not like his stance on the war, but I think if you read through his reasoning, you’ll probably be able to live with his position.

I’m sure you’re really excited about John McCain, but you should check Ron Paul out. He’s in the Republican Party, but I still like him a lot. I used to really like John McCain, but I think he’s sold a lot of his political soul in this campaign… he’s really been sucking up to the evangelicals and backing down on some of his old positions. I can send you some of his website information if you want to check it out.

I’m almost worried that you’ll like him though, because then it would mean we agree on something politically, which means this could undo the makings of the universe as we know it…..
