The Best Elvis Costello Cover Ever
One of the greatest things about having my own blog is that I can give mad props to my friends in bands. This is my friend Greg Hassett doing an amazing cover of Elvis Costello’s “Oliver’s Army.”
As a history teacher, I should have figured out after twenty or more years of listening to this song that it was about Oliver Cromwell. I’m such a dunce sometimes.
Please excuse the use of the “N” word. It’s okay, because he used it in a complete sentence, and was referring to a white guy.
