Much needed rain came on Wednesday for which all the little shallow plants are very grateful. Young plants in the field wer badly in need also. I’m sure the farmers are thankful.

The Wednesday evening potluck and drumming was cancelled although it didn’t need to be. There was no rain from 6:30 - 8:30. Kevin and I drummed until the almost full moon came up right over the spot on Hatch Hill where the winter solstice sun rises.

The days are getting shorter again but it’s hard to notice it with the increasing light of the full moon. In a week or so one will begin to ntoice the later sunrise and slightly earlier sunset.
