Randy Kuhl, and a number of other tunnel-visioned members of the House of Representatives voted a resounding NO on another opportunity to bring our troops home safely. The Responsible Redeployment from Iraq Act passed the House anyway, no thanks to RepKuhl and those of his ilk.

I was reminded of this first by my e-mail subscription to MegaVote from Congress.org, which informs me how my Senators and Representative vote each and every time they vote. Click here to get your very own update on your Representatives.

Then, I got a jam-packed robo-call from the Campaign for a Better America, reminding me that Representative Kuhl voted the measure down, and that so far more than 3,000 troops have died, 10,000 have been hurt in this $10 Billion a month debacle of a war. It also reminded me to call RepKuhl’s office at 607-776-9142 to suggest he change his vote to correspond with the wishes of an overwhelming majority of the American people.

We all have to keep pressure on our Representatives. If your Representatives are against the war, ask them to do more. If they’re for the war, tell them you want the war to end, and that you have the force of the American people behind you.
