In Terms a Man Can Understand

For the past year or so, I’ve been mowing my hair. I liked the way it looked, and it feels so cool when the first blast of air hits the newly, partially exposed scalp. Most importantly, hair cut by the clippers is wake and wear. No comb needed.

I figure I have a lot of good years to grow my hair out. My Dad at 73 only recently lost the ability to execute a good combover, although he still continues to try it.

My wife hasn’t said much until recently about my hair mowing. I value her input on my hair choices because she looks at my hair a lot more than I do. She finally broke her silence the other day.

Hair_Close.jpg“You’ve got a beautiful head of hair that most men your age would kill for… but you mow it all down.” Followed by an obviously blank expression from me.

“See… for women, a good head of hair is like cleavage for men.”

I’m calling for an appointment today.
