Liver Flush Weekend
As part of my revolutionary new taking-care-of-my-body revolution, this weekend I felt like it was time for a liver flush. With all the stress in my life the past few weeks, I’ve been eating like crap.
My wife said people love reading about other people’s liver flushes. So here ya go folks. Now someone else can hear me whine.
The liver flush helps the liver do it’s job of removing nasty shit from the system. It’s kind of like all the unnatural stuff you eat waiting in line outside the liver to get processed, but just waits there in limbo because it’s not on Club Liver’s invite list.
The worst part of the liver flush is not being able to eat for a while. We had to stop eating at 2:00, and couldn’t eat anything with fat all day. That means I couldn’t eat any good form of comfort food in the fridge, most notably the left over chicken wings and Strawberry Cheesecake Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream. I think I’ve made it over the not-eating-dinner hump though.
It’s 6:15 pm now, and we just did our first blast of epsom salts and water. Next is 8:00 epsom salts, and then the real fun begins, because the epsom salts loosen up the bile duct so stones can pass through. If you can handle it, here’s what those stones look like.
