Comments on GranolaBox: A Thank You to my Readers

My Dear Readers,

As you may or may not know, one of my fondest wishes is to build a community of readers who engage in timely, lively and hopefully not too vitriolic debate over the issues I present in this, my humble blog.

I read somewhere that when you start a blog, it takes readers a while to reach the level where they feel comfortable leaving comments, and then when people do leave comments, sometimes they’re not very nice.

That didn’t seem to be the case with me. I got lots of positive feedback from readers, and still do. Just the other day, in response to one of my articles about global warming, a Mr. Penis Enlarger Pills said, and I quote “Wow, nice.” He must have told his friends about it, because I got similar comments from Mr. Male Enhancement and Mr. Make Her Scream for More.

Cell_Phone.jpgI’m beginning to think a lot of my readers and are too busy to convey their complete thoughts, and so only leave snippets. For example, although they didn’t leave their comments with the right article, a number of folks who read my article about free airwaves must feel the same way I do about the issue. They advocate for “free mobile ringtones”, and slyly entreat the major cellphone makers with such witty barbs as “free Nokia ringtones” and “free Verizon ringtones.”

Happy_Pill.jpgSome of the commentary is very consistent with my intended progressive theme, and are, I think suggesting I write articles about health care reform and reform of the pharmaceutical industry. These folks suggest that the drug companies offer cheap phentermine, hyrocodone, meridia and levitra. It appears they’d also like the companies to be more forthcoming, leaving comments about the side effects of ambien and valtrex. Many advocate complete deregulation, suggesting drugs such as viagra, cialis, and even date rape drugs be made available on line without prescription.

Anatomy.gifI think many of my readers just want the GranolaBox community to be happy by whatever means necessary. Many suggest Soma, an obvious literary reference to Aldous Huxley. A LOT of you must feel that male enhancement is key to happiness, with repeated commentary on viagra, cialis, and even a suggestion that the two should be taken together. You can’t have too much of a good thing I guess.

Although most suggest better living and happiness through medication, many fun-lovers suggest we join the poker craze, and indulge in legal gambling online, and even free poker.

Finally, having just read The DaVinci Code, I wonder if all of these one or two word references to drugs, male enhancement, etc. are a hidden code being used by some sort of secret society to communicate via my website. This theory only came about after a Mr. 2406bda5969a… left the cryptic comment “2406bda5969a… ”

Anyway, thanks to all those loyal readers who continue to read my articles and leave their short, but I’m certain, heartfelt comments. For those who haven’t yet left comments, c’mon… join the fun!
